Yes. Adding ?text=Your%20message to a t.me username link drafts that message in the chat input when the person opens the conversation. They still have to press send themselves, which keeps the interaction consent-based.

The start parameter is a payload passed to a bot when someone opens it through a link like t.me/yourbot?start=promo123. The bot receives the value in the /start command, so you can route users to a specific flow, tag the traffic source or trigger a deep link inside the bot.
Can I track clicks on a t.me link?
